CARLSBAD, Calif. — Aviara Golf Club, a stunning and challenging coastal course in Carlsbad, will host the first public qualifying tournament for the 2025 Crystal Cup on Thursday, July 10. This exclusive new golf event combines world-class travel with premier golf competition.
Two-person teams will compete in both gross and net divisions for a chance to advance to the Crystal Cup Finale, set for October at Sea Island Golf Resort in Georgia. The grand prize includes a 29-night Crystal Symphony cruise. Amateur golfers interested in participating can register online at troonevents.com.
The Aviara qualifier is one of 23 tournaments held nationwide this summer at iconic venues including Tobacco Road Golf Club in North Carolina (Aug. 19) and La Cantera Golf Club in Texas (Aug. 26). In total, 940 teams (1,880 players) are expected to compete across public and private qualifiers.
Presented by Crystal Cruises in partnership with Troon Golf, the Crystal Cup Finale will feature Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and Solheim Cup winner Lexi Thompson as official ambassadors. Participants will compete alongside these golf legends and enjoy premium hospitality and exclusive prizes.
